**Passage:** Matthew 4:12–25
**Principle:** Jesus’ authority over sin, sickness, and Satan demonstrates that He is the Messiah.

**Ask your child these questions:**

- What did Jesus ask Andrew, Peter, James, and John to do?
- What was Jesus’ message?

**Help your child apply these truths in the following ways:**

- By obeying the Lord Jesus, who taught, preached, and healed with authority.
- By praising God for shining the light of Jesus into this dark world.
